My life is a map; proud ink on olde leather
Relief depicts the saga of my life:
Love is represented by the mountain
The river symbolizes pain
Time is shown by peaceful meadows
The words and symbols make sense to none other than me.
A treasure trove of skills, a receptacle of curses
Highs known only by the majestic eagle
Depths like the phenomenal black hole
Jealousy cripples; kindness cures
Legendary, great, magnanimous, altruistic, compassionate
Bereft of feeling, lonely, lost, needy, hurt, complicated.
Love is a mystery, vigorously pursued and yet maligned
Friendship the metaphoric double-edged sword
Family is where the heart resides, where the atrocity occurs
Dangerous is the separation between reality and psychic defense
My epitaph reveals lost potential, unmaximized energy, beauty, richness
The Renaissance man with an imp
The sorrow of the reality of self-imposed limits sobers….
